Atopic Dermatitis


Etiology
Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin inflammation and that arise in individuals with a history of atopic on himself or his family, namely a history of bronchial asthma, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and allergic reactions to plant filings. The exact cause is unknown, but the first transcription factors are the basis forthe emergence of of disease. Suspected inherited autosomal recessive and dominant.


Clinical Overview
The patient was restless and felt very itchy. Starting with erythema boundaryless firm, papules, vesicles, erosion, exudation, excoriation, crusting, and lichenification.


Differential Diagnosis
Contact dermatitis, Seborrheic dermatitis.


Prognosis
Patients with atopic dermatitis that begins in infancy, in part recover spontaneously, some continue to shape children and adults. Some are cured at the age of 15 years. Most of the healing at the age of 30 years.
In general, if there is a history of atopic dermatitis in the family, along with bronchial asthma, or dermatitis was severe, the disease is more persistent. There is no way to predict prognosis. Their skin seems to have returned to normal, still prone to interference.
