Rashes

Rashes is a skin disorder that can be seen with the naked eye (objectively), and if necessary can be checked by touch. Rashes may change in time course of disease. The process can be a normal result in the course of pathological processes. Sometimes these changes can be influenced from outside circumstances, such as trauma scratching, and the treatment given, so that changes are not unusual anymore. In this case the clinical picture deviates from the usual morphologic disease and difficult to identify. There are two types of rashes, namely primary rashes (skin disorder that occurs at the beginning of the disease), and secondary rashes (skin disorder that occurs during the course of the disease.
Primary Rashes
1) Macula. Changes in skin color only firm with the size and shape vary without changing the shape, elevation, or basins.
2) Patch. Macula with a diameter > 1 cm.
3) Erythema. Red macular induced dilation of capillary blood vessels are reversible.
4) Papules. Elevation / protrusion of the skin of a solid with a diameter <> 1 cm and a flat surface.
6) Nodules. Dome-shaped papules, size > 1 cm and deeper.
7) Tumors. A mass / protrusion above the skin surface of either benign or malignant based on cell and tissue growth, the size > 2 cm.
8) Infiltrates. Tumors are composed of a collection of inflammatory cells.
9) Vesicles. Bubbles / elevation of skin filled with fluid serous firmly bounded by the size of <> 1 cm.
11) Pustules. Firmly bounded skin elevation containing pus.
12) Urticaria. Elevation / local protrusion on a flat surface of the skin due to local edema in the upper dermis that arises suddenly and can disappear slowly. Are itching, dilated pores, pale color.
13) Cysts. Protrusion above the skin surface in the form of a sac containing serous fluid, solid, or semi-solid, cells or residual cells. Cysts are formed not due to inflammation, although the later can be inflamed.
Secondary Rashes
1) Squama. The release of the horn of the stratum corneum layer of the skin surface. Epidermal particles can be dry or oily, thin or thick and coated with the keratin. The color varies grayish white, yellow, or brown.
2) Erosion. The loss of the stratum spinosum layer of the skin limited and heal without leaving scars. The skin looks red and serous discharge.
3) Excoriation. Skin tissue damage to the pars papilare so the skin looks red with bleeding spots.
4) Ulcer. Damage to the continuity of skin tissue in the dermis or deeper, heal with scar tissue left.
5) Crusting. Drying of blood fluid, faeces, pus, or drug mixed epithelial debris on the surface skin bacteria.
6) Cicatrix (Scar). Establishment of new networks that are contain more connective tissue to replace tissue damaged by disease or trauma to the epidermis or dermis deeper. This connective tissue can be more concave than the surrounding skin (atrophy cicatrix), may be more prominent (hypertrophy cicatrix), and can be normal (eutrofi / cut). Cicatrix looks slick, and adnexa of the skin lines disappear.
7) Keloid. Hypertrophy of growth exceeded the limit.
8) Fissures. Skin cracks are linear throughout the epidermis, or until the dermis, can be multiple.
9) Abscess. Collection of pus in the tissue.
10) Lichenification. Thickening of the skin so that the fold lines / skin looks clearer relief.
11) Rhagaden. Hemispheres with a basic skin deep.
12) Guma. Destructive form of skin damage, chronic, usually softened.
13) Canalicular. Form channels in the stratum corneum, which arose in parallel with the surface of the skin.
14) Exanthema. Abnormalities in the skin surface that arise simultaneously in a short time and did not last long, usually preceded by fever.
15) Telangiectasia. Capillary blood vessel dilation that settled on the skin.
16) Purpura. Bleeding in the skin that are reddish, and not lost in the emphasis of the skin.
