Periostitis


Periostitis is inflammation of the periosteum, and is usually associated with the occurrence of osteomyelitis. Cause of periostitis is usually due to trauma exposure on the boundary of the periosteum. Osteomyelitis is inflammation of the soft tissue inside the bone, the spongious of bone tissue, and the Haver's system of the cortex.
