Etiology
Pediculosis pubis is a infection of louse Phthirus pubis on hair and skin in the pubic area and its surroundings which is usually transmitted through close physical contact with an infected person, especially sexual contacts. Ticks are adapted to live in the hair with a certain density, it is impossible to form colonies in scalp hair, except on the edge of the scalp, whereas the most suitable place for it is an area of pubic lice, armpit, beard, eyebrows and eyelashes.
Clinical Overview

Differential Diagnosis
Seborrheic dermatitis, Tinea cruris.
