Rights and Obligations of Doctor-Patient
Health is the thing that is priceless. However, health is often forgotten how valuable it is.
The first thing we do when we are sick is seeing a doctor. In the process, ongoing reciprocal relationship between physician-patient relationship. Patients need a doctor, otherwise the doctor takes the patient. In order to get patients back to health and healing, doctor-patient relationship is maintained properly. For the achievement of doctor-patient relationship is good, doctors and patients need to know what their rights and obligations. Obligations and rights of the doctor-patient as mentioned below.
Doctor's obligations, that is devoted to live for the sake of humanity; work with scientific and medical knowledge, ethics, law, religion, conscience, and according to professional standards; the interests of patients; keep confidential all confidential patient's disease is unknown for others, even if threatened; respect every individual starting from the initial conception; honor teachers who have taught science; maintain the dignity of the noble medical office; treat your colleagues like their own siblings, and referring to another doctor who is more expert colleagues if not within his expertise.
Doctor's rights, namely to obtain the correct and complete information from patients / families about the disease; refusing to act contrary to medical ethics, law, religion, and his conscience, even if threatened; get legal protection throughout his devotion to truth and knowledge of medical science , and according to professional standards, and receive payment for services.
Patients' obligations, namely self-examined as early as possible to the doctor; give a true and complete information about the disease; obey doctor's advice and instructions, and pay off the cost of inspection, treatment and care, and physician fees.
Patients' rights, namely getting the health care; seek "second opinion"; refuse medical treatment if deemed burdensome, and obtain the contents of medical records.
