Etiology
Ecthyma is pyoderma affecting the epidermis and dermis, forming a shallow ulcer that is covered by a crust layered.
Clinical Overview
Itching. Early lesions in the form of vesicles over erythematous skin, enlarge and rupture, formed a thick crust and a yellow hard dry released from the base, usually located in the lower leg, where a relatively much got trauma. If there are ulcers shallow crust removed.
Differential Diagnosis
Crustosa impetigo, Folliculitis.
Prognosis
If the general condition good, will heal itself in about three weeks, leaving scar tissue that does not mean. If the poor general condition can become gangrenous.
