Etiology
Insect bite dermatitis is a skin inflammation caused by a reaction to toxins or allergens fluids issued by the bite or prick a variety of insects such as fleas, lice, bedbugs, spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, paederus, and others.
Clinical Overview
After being bitten by insects arise edema of the skin, followed by local necrosis of tissue. Lesions vary from erythematous macular morbiliformis until papules, urticaria, vesicles, or pustules bull, then there extensive necrosis and gangrene. Often itching or pain at the site of the bite. Systemic symptoms of discomfort, vomiting, dizziness until the shock, can accompany a severe bite to the toxin (such as the black spider bite).
Differential Diagnosis
Prurigo, Urticaria, Contact dermatitis.
