Etiology
Vitiligo is a skin disorder due to pigmentation disorders (idiopathic hypomelanosis) with descriptions of white patches are bounded firmly. Can about all parts of the body that contain melanocytes, such as hair and eye. The cause is unknown, associated with the process of immunologic or neurologic disorders or auto-cytotoxic.
Clinical Overview
Starting hypopigmentation is bounded clearly as white spots that grew wide. In the vicinity of the lesion often found hyperpigmentation. Usually no itching or pain.
Differential Diagnosis
Morbus Hansen, Discoid lupus erythematosus, Partial albinism (Piebaldism), Tinea versicolor, Pityriasis alba, Post-inflammatory hypopigmentation.
