Etiology
Miliary is a skin inflammation caused by blockage of the pores of sweat glands and edema caused by bacteria that do not sweat out and absorbed by the stratum corneum. It is also caused by the obstruction of sweat glands. Usually arise if the heat or humidity, or due to the influence of wearing clothes that do not absorb sweat.
Clinical Overview
Generally accompanied by intense itching. Visible vesicles, papules with surrounding erythema. Asymptomatic, easily become infected secondary impetigo and furunculosis, particularly in children.
Diagnosis Differential
Prurigo, Insect bites, Folliculitis.
Prognosis
Generally good.
